On the afternoon of August 25, the School of Mathematics and Statistics held a meeting on the promotion of scientific research and talent work and the mobilization of 2024 fund application. The leaders of the college, all professors, research and proposed fund applicants, and talent program applicants attended the meeting. Vice President Lu Jian firstly made a summary of the college's scientific research work and fund declaration mobilization. He summarized the scientific research work of the college in 2023 from the situation of scientific research papers, scientific research projects, ESI citation frequency, and current fund declaration. He mentioned that there is still a great potential for the current fund declaration in our college, and the college will increase the introduction of postdoctoral students next, encouraging all teachers to actively participate in the declaration to improve the scientific research level of the discipline.
